2 flies
Hi,
Yesterday after my exams I sat in the garden and saw some flies I could photograph. I used the MP-E 65 with the macro ring flash.

Hi,
A few weeks ago my dad and I made a couple of pictures from something
It was made using an Olympus stereo microscope
I think the magnification is about 15 times. Because of the depth of field is very shallow we made this picture of a stack. So explained in human language: we made about 10 pictures focused on different heights. Adding al these pictures together you get one picture where the whole object is in focus. While making these pictures it’s important to enable mirror lockup on your camera.
So what is mirror lockup? When pressing the shutter on a DSLR the mirror, that reflects the light so you can see your image through the viewfinder, slaps away and the camera takes a picture. This movement of the mirror causes vibrations. When using long shutter speeds these vibrations cause motion blur. While mirror lockup is enabled you have to press the shutter release button 2 times to take a picture. The first time you press the shutter release button only the mirror slaps away. Now you can wait until the vibration has died out before pressing the shutter release button for the second time. When pressing it for the second your camera will take the picture.
Someone any idea what it is? Leave your answer in the comments
